Prayer Requests
My grandfather, John Whiteford, used to keep a prayer request box at Vaughns Home Furnishing, his furniture store in Rockford. Anyone could drop in a note, signed or not, and he would pray for them. This page is our way of keeping that box open.
If something is on your heart, whether it’s your health, your family, your work, or anything else, you’re welcome to share it here. Our family will read it and pray for you. You don’t need to be a customer, and you don’t need to leave your name.
What happens to your request
- It is read only by our family. It is never posted on this website or anywhere else.
- It is never used for marketing, never added to our customer list, and never shared or sold.
- Anonymous is welcome. If you leave your name blank, we won’t know who sent it. We don’t store your internet address with your request.
- We’ll reach out only if you ask us to, and only using the contact details you give.
- Requests are deleted after 12 months. To have yours removed sooner, call or text 815-248-5685.
