Information We Collect
When you use our website or request an estimate, we may collect the following information:
- Name, phone number, and email address
- Property address (for estimate purposes)
- Information about your roofing project
- Website usage data (via Google Analytics)
- Prayer requests you choose to send us (see below)
Online Estimates
When our online estimator shows you a price, we save the property address, the roof measurements and the price range it showed, even if you stop there and never send us your name or contact details. That record has no name, phone number or email in it, and we do not use it to contact you. We use it to see which roofs people are pricing and to check our estimates. If you send us your details, the same record becomes your estimate request. To have a saved estimate deleted, call or text us.
Text Messages
If you tick the box on one of our forms, or tell us on the phone that texts are fine, we may text you about your request: a reply when it arrives, a reminder before an inspection, a check-in after we send an estimate, and a request for a review after the job. We send these only between 8 am and 8 pm Central time. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time and we will stop texting you; reply START to allow texts again. When you text or call our business number, the conversation is kept with your request so we have the full history. We never sell your number or use it for unrelated marketing.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your estimate requests and inquiries
- Provide roofing services
- Improve our website and services
- Send follow-up communications about your project
Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. Your information is used solely for providing our roofing services and communicating with you about your project.
Google Maps & Analytics
Our website uses Google Maps to display satellite imagery of your property for estimate purposes. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. These services may collect anonymized usage data subject to Google's privacy policy. We do not run Google Analytics on our Prayer Requests page.
Prayer Requests
Our website has a Prayer Requests page where anyone can share something they would like prayer for. It is separate from our roofing business. Here is how we handle what you send:
- Who reads it: only our family. Requests are not posted on this website or anywhere else.
- What we keep: your request, the name you give (if any), and contact details only if you ask us to reach out. We do not attach your internet address to your request. To prevent spam, our server briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address, separate from your request, and deletes it within a day.
- What we never do: we never use prayer requests for marketing, never add them to our customer records, and never share or sell them.
- Notifications: when a request arrives, we receive an email saying a new request came in. The email does not include what you wrote.
- How long we keep it: requests are deleted automatically 12 months after we receive them. To have yours deleted sooner, contact us using the details below. If you sent it anonymously, tell us roughly when you sent it and a few words from it.
- Where it is stored: in a secured database that only our family’s approved accounts can access.
Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
